Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Seeking a dedicated educator who is passionate about special education to work full-time in a K-1 Autism classroom for an AU or MD special education program. Key Qualifications:

Valid Special Education Teacher certification Experience with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Multiple Disabilities (MD), and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies preferred Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Compassionate, patient, and skilled at building rapport with students, families, and colleagues Proficient in data collection, progress monitoring, and differentiated instruction Strong classroom management skills tailored to diverse needs Effective communication and collaboration with paraprofessionals and related service staff

Primary Responsibilities:
