In this vital role, you will develop and implement individualized instructional strategies that support students with diverse needs, including those with developmental disabilities, autism, and other impairments.
Responsibilities:
Design and deliver tailored lesson plans incorporating special education principles, IEP (Individualized Education Program) goals, and instructional modifications to support students with disabilities. Collaborate closely with teachers, therapists, parents, and support staff to develop comprehensive educational plans that promote student success across academic and behavioral domains. Implement evidence-based behavioral management strategies. Integrate learning technology tools and educational software to create engaging lessons in core subjects. Conduct assessments using standardized testing and observational techniques to monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly. Maintain detailed documentation of student progress, IEP compliance, behavioral interventions, and classroom activities in accordance with educational regulations.
Requirements:
Prior classroom experience working with students with disabilities in school settings is essential. Pay:
