Build TRUST through compassion, transparency, and consistency REFLECT on our challenges and turn them into opportunities for growth Currently hiring a special education floater for grade level(s): 6th-8th grade Special Education Floater is a unique position requiring lots of flexibility. Provide instructional and behavioral support and assistance to classroom teachers and students assigned to a team in a K-8 setting. Supervise students during recess, lunch, and sensory breaks. Record student progress on data sheets, goal sheets, and daily logs to assist the teacher and Behavior Coordinator. Assist with educational classroom needs and student behavior plans. Work collaboratively with a school-based team. Bachelors (Required); equivilant education or related field/experience may be considered ?Valid Ohio Educational Aide Certification Experience:
1 year accepted experience working with children with autism or other special needs, 2 years (Preferred) Special education: 1 year (Preferred) Experience with social- communication classroom TEACH style program or structed- style room for children with autism and/ or special needs preferred. Must have strong verbal & written communication skills and communicate effectively with both families & staff. Must be able to work collaboratively and effectively within a team.
