A Special Education Teacher teaches students who have disabilities, and adapts teaching methods to meet the needs of students. Assesses students and helps to develop individualized education plans that specify the services and accommodations needed for each student. Works in a classroom that includes only students with IEPs, or works with students and teachers in regular classes. For students with severe disabilities, may focus on developing skills for independent living. Works as part of a team that includes therapists, school counselors or social workers.

Job Description
Pay:
$43$48 per hour | Negotiable based on experience and qualifications The ideal candidate will be a fully licensed Ohio Intervention Specialist with a strong background in special education, experience implementing IEPs, and the ability to provide effective, differentiated instruction in a Resource setting.Responsibilities:
Provide specially designed instruction in a Resource/Pull-Out setting Develop and implement individualized and small-group lesson plans aligned with students' IEP goals Deliver instruction that supports students' academic and developmental needs Implement accommodations and modifications outlined in students' IEPs Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals Use assessment and student data to guide instruction and interventions Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development and implementation of IEPs Maintain accurate special education documentation and student records Provide a positive, structured, and supportive learning environment Differentiate instruction to meet the individual needs of diverse learnersBenefits:

Previous experience working as an Intervention Specialist or Special Education Teacher Experience providing Resource/Pull-Out instruction strongly preferred Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation Experience providing specially designed instruction and differentiated learning Strong classroom management and student-support skills Ability to collaborate effectively with general education teachers and school staff Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills Commitment to supporting students with disabilities and helping them achieve their academic goalsCertifications:
Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist LicenseREQUIRED
Candidate must be fully certified/licensed as an Intervention Specialist in the State of Ohio Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field required Additional special education certifications or endorsements are a plusSchedule & Position Details:
