The QMHS will play a vital role in delivering direct mental health interventions , facilitating group sessions , implementing individual service plans (ISPs) , and ensuring consistent case management for the youth in our program. This position is year-round , transitioning from our after-school program during the academic year to our 9-week summer camp in the summer. The 2026 Summer Camp will run from June 1st to August 7th , during which therapy hours will be adjusted accordingly.
Schedule & Compensation:
After-School Program (During the school year): Monday- Friday, 2:00 PM
- 7:30 PM Summer Camp (June 1, 2026
- August 7, 2026): Monday
- Friday, 8:00 AM
- 3:00
PM Compensation:
$25 per hourSTART DATE
JUNE 1ST, 2026Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate group therapy sessions focused on emotional regulation, coping skills, social development, and behavioral health . Implement individual service plans (ISPs) in collaboration with the Licensed Social Worker/Counselor (LSW, LPC) to address client goals and treatment needs. Provide consistent case management , ensuring clients receive appropriate services, interventions, and community referrals . Conduct daily documentation of client progress, behaviors, and therapeutic interventions. Maintain accurate and timely case notes and submit monthly progress reports to the LSW for review. Work closely with the Clinical Director, LSW, and other mental health professionals to ensure cohesive service delivery. Monitor client engagement, emotional well-being, and behavioral changes , making necessary adjustments in collaboration with the LSW. Assist in crisis management and intervention, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all participants. Serve as a mentor and positive role model for youth, promoting self-awareness, resilience, and healthy communication skills .Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field .QMHS Certification:
Must hold a valid QMHS certification .Experience:
At least two years of experience working with youth in behavioral health, mental health, or social services .Knowledge:
Strong understanding of mental health principles, trauma-informed care, and therapeutic interventions .Skills & Requirements:
Ability to engage with youth in a structured therapeutic setting . Strong documentation skills , with the ability to write professional and detailed progress notes. Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills . Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team . Proficiency in basic computer skills and willingness to learn new documentation software. Valid Ohio or Michigan driver's license, clean driving record, and adequate insurance . Willingness to use a personal vehicle for work-related duties . Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screening .Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and engage with youth in an active, hands-on therapeutic environment . Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. independently, with occasional assistance for heavier lifting.
