Desired Experience & Qualifications:

Valid teaching certification in Special Education required Experience as an Intervention Specialist strongly preferred Background in developing and implementing IEPs Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams Ability to adapt instructional methods to meet various student needs Driven to create an inclusive, positive classroom atmosphere

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to support learners at varying ability levels Work closely with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff to coordinate classroom activities Foster a supportive, structured, and engaging learning environment Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers regarding student progress and needs Maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state requirements Working as a Special Education Teacher in this contract role provides an exciting opportunity to make an immediate impact.
