This contract role offers a chance to work as an Intervention Specialist supporting a dynamic caseload of 39 special education students. Located conveniently near Elyria, OH, your expertise will help shape a positive and inclusive learning environment. Enjoy a consistent weekday schedule, with breakfast supervision from 7:30-7:55 a.m. and the school day running from 8:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

Key Qualifications:

Ohio Teaching Certification preferred; candidates without full licensure but with special education experience are encouraged to apply. Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship. Experience or strong interest in special education practices. Adaptability, strong communication skills, and collaboration mindset.

Primary Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and modify individualized education programs (IEPs) for special education students. Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families. Track and report progress; maintain thorough, compliant records. Create a supportive, inclusive classroom where all students are empowered to succeed. Employ differentiated instructional strategies to meet each student's varied needs.
