Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist certification is required. Previous experience working as a special education teacher in a school setting preferred. Strong knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring. Adaptable and collaborative approach for working with multidisciplinary teams. Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

Deliver direct instruction and individualized support to students in a high-needs classroom (choose either high school or K-5). Develop, implement, and track progress on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Collaborate with general education teachers, related service staff, and families to optimize student outcomes. Foster an inclusive learning environment that encourages growth and confidence in every student. Maintain accurate records for student documentation and regulatory compliance. Participate in IEP meetings, problem-solving sessions, and professional development activities as needed.
