Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Exciting full-time opportunities are now available for Intervention Specialists with expertise in special education! Multiple positions are open to support students from kindergarten through 12th grade for the upcoming contract term. Candidates will work closely with students, families, and school teams to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) that foster academic success and personal growth.
Key Qualifications:
Valid teaching certification in Special Education or Intervention Specialist licensure (K-12) Demonstrated experience working with diverse caseloads in a school-based setting Strong understanding of IEP development, progress monitoring, and compliance Excellent communication skills for collaboration with teachers, administrators, and families Ability to adapt instruction and interventions to meet a wide range of learning needs Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom environment Flexibility and enthusiasm for working across grade levels or caseload types (please specify your preferred area of focus when applying)
Primary Responsibilities:
Design and implement individualized instructional plans for students with disabilities Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams Create a positive, engaging learning environment where all students can thrive Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with special education laws and best practices
