Job Description

Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students as an Intervention Specialist in a welcoming elementary environment supporting grades 3-6. This full-time, contract position offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with school staff to deliver individualized resource support designed to help students reach their greatest potential. Ideal candidates bring experience in special education and possess a current, valid Ohio Intervention Specialist License. Youll have the chance to utilize your expertise in developing, modifying, and implementing individualized education programs, ensuring each student receives tailored instruction that meets their unique learning needs.
Key Qualifications:
Current and valid Ohio Intervention Specialist License is required Demonstrated experience with students in special education settings Strong ability to design and adapt curriculum and materials to serve diverse learning styles Effective communication skills for working with students, parents, and educational teams Collaborative mindset and a passion for fostering student growth and inclusion
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide resource support for students in grades 3-6, utilizing specialized teaching strategies Develop and implement IEPs in cooperation with other education professionals and families Monitor, document, and report on student progress toward educational goals Work with paraprofessionals and support staff to ensure the best classroom outcomes Maintain a positive and safe learning environment, advocating for student needs Participate in regular team meetings, professional development, and compliance documentation This contract role offers 37.5 hours per week, providing you with a consistent, rewarding schedule as you help young learners succeed and thrive.
