Desired Skills & Experience:
Valid state licensure or certification in Special Education Proven track record in an Individualized Services (IS) environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage students, parents, and colleagues Confidence in designing, adapting, and implementing IEPs Technological proficiency to support both in-person and virtual teaching methods Ability to create an accommodating, compassionate learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver specialized instruction to students with diverse needs, either in the classroom or through virtual platforms Develop and maintain clear, effective Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal guidelines Work collaboratively with general education staff, related service providers, and families to ensure student success Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals, participating in meetings as needed Employ evidence-based instructional strategies tailored to each student's unique abilities Maintain a positive, supportive atmosphere that encourages academic and social growth for every learner Benefits of this
