Yesterday Job Description Ross Local School District is seeking a highly qualified and student-focused Intervention Specialist to serve students in grades Kindergarten through Fourth Grade at Morgan Elementary School. The successful candidate will provide specialized instruction and support to students with disabilities while collaborating with staff and families to ensure all students achieve their fullest potential. Qualifications Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist License Knowledge of special education laws, procedures, and compliance requirements Experience developing, implementing, and monitoring Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Strong instructional skills and understanding of evidence-based interventions Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and support personnel Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Responsibilities Provide direct instruction and intervention services to students with disabilities in grades K-4 Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in accordance with state and federal regulations Collect and analyze student data to guide instructional decisions Collaborate with general education teachers to support student achievement in inclusive settings Participate in Evaluation Team Reports (ETRs), IEP meetings, and multidisciplinary team meetings Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all special education requirements Foster positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues Participate in professional development and building-level initiatives Compensation Salary and benefits will be in accordance with the negotiated agreement and applicable Board policies.
