Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Lead Teacher to inspire and guide young learners in a dynamic educational environment. This vital role involves designing engaging curricula, managing classroom activities, and fostering a nurturing space where children can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. The Lead Teacher will serve as a role model for both students and fellow educators, championing innovative teaching methods and inclusive practices that support diverse learning needs. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional learning. Manage classroom behavior through effective behavior management strategies, creating a safe and positive learning environment for children of various ages, including toddlers, preschoolers, and students with special needs. Utilize learning technology and educational tools to enhance instruction and engagement across different subjects. Conduct assessments Lead curriculum development Support children's social welfare by implementing best practices in childcare, early childhood education, and preschool experience standards. Requirements Proven classroom management skills with experience working with children across early childhood or preschool settings. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and special education practices tailored for students with disabilities or developmental delays. Experience in speech therapy techniques, behavioral therapy, or working with individuals on the autism spectrum is highly desirable. Ability to develop engaging lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math skills, physical education, and behavioral health strategies. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, therapists, and other stakeholders. Demonstrated commitment to child welfare and creating inclusive environments that promote learning for all children. Pay:
$18.00 - $21.00 per hour
