School-Based Location:
Groveport, OH Position:
Teacher of Students with Visual Impairments (TVI)
Setting:
School-Based We are seeking a dedicated TVI to support students with visual impairments throughout the Groveport Madison Local School District. The TVI will provide specialized instruction and support to help students access the curriculum and participate successfully in the educational environment.
Requirements:
Appropriate Ohio certification/licensure for students with visual impairments Experience working with students with visual impairments preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to work effectively with teachers, families, and school staff
Responsibilities:
Provide specialized instruction based on individual student needs Assess student needs and support development of appropriate educational goals Adapt instructional materials and classroom activities Support students with assistive technology and accessibility needs Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports #LI-JB1 #cat3
