Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Step into a pivotal role as a Preschool Special Education Teacher and make a lasting impact on the youngest learners in a dynamic educational setting. As a long-term substitute, you will provide specialized support for preschool-aged children, guiding them through early developmental milestones and ensuring their individual needs are met through tailored instruction. This is a full-time opportunity, starting August 25, 2026, for approximately 12 weeks.

Key Qualifications:

Valid Special Education Teaching certification (appropriate for preschool level) Demonstrated experience working with preschool-aged children in special education settings Proficiency in implementing and managing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Strong skills in differentiating instruction to support diverse learners Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration abilities Experience creating a safe and positive classroom environment

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality early childhood special education services to students with a range of developmental needs Develop and adapt individualized lesson plans building on student strengths and addressing their challenges Conduct regular IEP meetings, collaborating with families and support staff to ensure goals are achieved Cultivate a stimulating and nurturing classroom atmosphere conducive to learning and growth Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with program requirements
