Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a positive learning environment that fosters student engagement and academic growth. This role involves developing lesson plans, assessing student progress, and collaborating with parents and staff to support each child's educational journey. Duties Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. Assess and monitor student progress through various evaluation methods. Create a supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for learning. Manage classroom behavior effectively to maintain a conducive learning atmosphere. Collaborate with parents, guardians, and other educators to support student development and address individual needs. Provide tutoring and additional support to students who require extra assistance in literacy education or other subjects. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on educational best practices. Support special education initiatives and adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles, including Montessori approaches. Follow a structured food program menu based around the proper nutrition while serving and prepping breakfast, lunch and snack. Skills Strong background in childcare preferred. Proficiency in literacy education techniques and classroom management strategies. Experience working with students of varying abilities, including behavior management techniques. Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and requirements. Knowledge of special education principles and practices is highly desirable. Ability to create individualized learning plans for students needing additional support. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
