Required Qualifications & Experience:

Valid Special Education Teacher certification Experience teaching in a special education setting Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation Ability to create differentiated lesson plans Excellent communication and collaboration skills Positive, patient, and adaptable approach to teaching

Key Responsibilities:

Provide personalized instruction to students in grades 3-5 with varying abilities and needs Develop, implement, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Collaborate with general education teachers, administration, and support staff to ensure student success Adapt curriculum to meet diverse learning needs and styles Assess and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed Maintain an inclusive and encouraging classroom environment Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress
