9665484-43081 Job Description Make an immediate impact on students' lives in a supportive elementary school environment as an Intervention Specialist. Openings are available just east of Columbus, OH for motivated Special Education Teachers to join a passionate team for the remainder of the school year. This is a full-time (40 hours/week), contract position running ASAP through May 28th.

Openings include:

1 BFLIC SPED (Behavioral unit capped at 12 students, plus a paraeducator in each class) 3 MDLIC SPED (Multiple Disabilities classrooms capped at 8 students, each with two paraeducators) 1

Cross-Categorical SPED Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Deliver effective instruction to students in small classroom settings Adapt lessons to meet a variety of learning styles and abilities Collaborate with classroom paras, counselors, and school staff Work closely with families and support teams to ensure student growth Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress Foster a safe, inclusive, and encouraging classroom atmosphere

Desired Qualifications:

Valid Special Education licensure in Ohio, or the ability to obtain one Experience in behavioral, multiple disabilities, or cross-categorical settings is highly valued Strong classroom management and communication skills Commitment to supporting diverse learners Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and families Passion for fostering student development and independence
