Key Responsibilities:

Provide individualized instruction to students with disabilities, following IEP goals and adapting teaching methods to meet unique learning needs. Develop and implement creative lesson plans and behavior management strategies. Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teams to design effective supports. Monitor and document student progress, maintaining all required records and ongoing communication with parents and staff. Foster an atmosphere that encourages student participation, independence, and social-emotional growth. Adhere to district, state, and federal guidelines related to special education services.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

Valid Special Education Teaching Certification (or eligibility to obtain certification for the state). Proven experience working as a Special Education Teacher in schools. Ability to effectively deliver instruction both onsite or through virtual platforms. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Passion for making learning accessible and engaging for all students.
