Category Schools - Special Education Teacher - Telehealth Job Type Contract An Ohio school district is looking for a skilled Virtual Intervention Specialist | Full-Time Special Education Teacher to provide online instruction and academic support for students receiving special education services. Responsibilities Provide virtual specialized instruction based on student IEP goals. Adapt lessons and materials to meet individual learning needs. Monitor student progress and maintain educational documentation. Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff. Participate in virtual IEP meetings. Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress. Skills Strong classroom management skills in an online setting. Ability to differentiate instruction. Excellent communication and organization. Familiarity with digital learning platforms. Student-focused teaching approach. Qualifications Ohio Intervention Specialist license or eligibility. Special education teaching experience preferred. Knowledge of IEP development and compliance requirements. Experience Prior experience supporting students with disabilities preferred. Virtual teaching experience welcomed. Education Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field.
