Qualifications & Experience:

Active Special Education certification or licensure Experience or strong interest in working with elementary or middle school-aged students Understanding of IEP development, progress monitoring, and goal setting Ability to foster positive relationships and provide meaningful feedback Collaborative approach to teaming with paraprofessionals, teachers, and families Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and adapt lesson plans to meet individual student needs and learning styles Deliver engaging instruction in alignment with state standards and IEP goals Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records Collaborate with general education teachers and paraprofessionals to maximize student supports Attend and contribute to IEP meetings and parent conferences Maintain an inclusive, respectful, and nurturing classroom environment
