Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dynamic School Age Master Teacher to lead and inspire children in our school-age programs. This energetic educator will design engaging, developmentally appropriate activities that foster growth, curiosity, and social-emotional skills. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in early childhood education, classroom management, and curriculum development, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young learners' lives while collaborating with families and staff to promote positive childhood experiences. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans tailored to school-age children, incorporating literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori principles where applicable. Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration, independence, and social-emotional development. Manage daily classroom activities with enthusiasm while maintaining high standards of behavior management and child welfare. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to share progress, address concerns, and foster strong partnerships. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate documentation of child development progress and incident reports. Incorporate early intervention strategies and special education techniques to support diverse learning needs. Lead activities that promote physical activity, creativity, and cognitive skills such as standardized testing preparation or tutoring sessions when appropriate. Qualifications Proven experience working with children in educational or childcare settings, including preschool or daycare experience. Strong knowledge of childhood development instruction, classroom management techniques, and behavior management strategies. Familiarity with curriculum development across various domains such as literacy, math, physical education, and Montessori methods. Certification in first aid and CPR; additional certifications in special education or early intervention are a plus. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members. Ability to plan lessons that align with developmental milestones and educational standards. Experience working within private schools or daycare environments is preferred; familiarity with preschool teaching is highly valued.
