This full-time position runs from ASAP through May 2027, offering an impactful way to build your experience while making a real difference each day. In this role, youll work one-on-one with a 6th-grade student, providing the academic and behavioral support essential for their success. Your experience supporting children with autism will be key, as you help implement individualized educational plans, foster independence, and encourage positive classroom participation.

Key Qualifications:

Prior experience as a paraprofessional, especially in school settings Demonstrated expertise working with students diagnosed with autism Ability to establish rapport and communicate effectively with students, teachers, and staff Compassion, patience, and a genuine commitment to student growth Dependability and the capacity to maintain confidentiality

Responsibilities:

Deliver direct support to a 6th-grade student, both academically and behaviorally Implement strategies detailed in the students Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Assist the classroom teacher by monitoring student progress and adapting support as needed Encourage social skills development and foster engagement with peers Maintain accurate records of the student's progress and challenges Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to review and address student needs This is a fantastic chance to work consistently35 hours per week in a contract position that allows you to make a strong impact within the school community.
