e2112-73013 Job Description Make a difference in students lives by providing essential support as a dedicated Visually Impaired Teacher in a school setting near Edmond, OK. In this full-time, on-site contract assignment, you'll work 1:1 with pediatric students to deliver individualized instruction and support. This long-term opportunity is ideal for candidates passionate about helping children reach their fullest potential and supporting their unique learning needs. Travel professionals are also encouraged to apply. What you'll need: Bachelors Degree (B.A.) required Certified Teacher of the Visually Impaired through the state Strong experience or interest in working 1:1 with pediatric learners Commitment to fostering inclusive, accessible educational environments Adaptability, patience, and strong communication skills Primary responsibilities: Provide direct, individualized instructional support to visually impaired students Collaborate with educational teams to develop and implement customized learning plans Utilize specialized teaching techniques and assistive technologies to support student access to curriculum Monitor and document student progress, making necessary adjustments to instructional strategies Offer consultation and guidance to staff and families regarding the needs of visually impaired learners This position offers comprehensive health and dental insurance, access to a company-matched 401(k) plan, and competitive weekly pay designed with your well-being in mind.
