Duties Assist lead teachers in implementing curriculum development tailored to early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and Montessori methods. Provide engaging instruction and support for children across different age groups, including toddlers and preschoolers, ensuring their developmental needs are met. Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior management strategies and maintaining a safe, nurturing environment. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and classroom activities to foster strong home-school connections. Assist with lesson planning and adapt activities to accommodate children with special education needs or those requiring early intervention services. Maintain compliance with mandated reporting laws and child welfare regulations while observing and documenting child development milestones. Support classroom routines such as diapering, meal times, nap schedules, and outdoor play to promote healthy routines. Requirements Experience working with children in educational or childcare settings, including daycare or preschool environments. Knowledge of childhood development instruction, behavior management techniques, and classroom management strategies. Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and standardized testing related to early childhood education. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training in child welfare and safety protocols is preferred. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and engage parents in their child's learning journey. Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments and support multiple age groups as needed. Demonstrated understanding of special education practices, early intervention programs.
