Qualifications:
Bachelors degree required Valid state certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired Previous experience working 1:1 with pediatric learners preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Adaptable and committed to student success in diverse educational settings
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct, individualized instruction tailored to a visually impaired students educational needs Develop and implement personalized learning plans in collaboration with school staff and families Adapt curriculum materials and utilize assistive technology to ensure equitable access Monitor, evaluate, and report student progress, adjusting strategies for continued growth Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to the educational team Foster a supportive, encouraging learning environment focused on student achievement
