The Special Education Math Teacher will provide high school math instruction and specialized academic support to students with diverse learning needs. The teacher will manage an IEP caseload , develop and implement individualized goals, conduct IEP meetings , collaborate with general education teachers and other school professionals, and support students through transition planning .

Duties and Responsibilities:
Teach high school Special Education Math to students with diverse learning needs. Develop engaging and differentiated math lessons based on students' individual academic needs and IEP goals . Manage a caseload of approximately 26 students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) . Develop, write, and implement IEPs , including measurable annual goals and appropriate accommodations and services. Conduct IEP meetings and collaborate with students, families, general education teachers, administrators, and related service providers. Monitor student progress toward IEP goals and maintain accurate and timely documentation. Qualifications Valid Oregon teaching license is required. High school special education teaching experience is preferred. Strong experience writing IEP goals and developing transition plans for high school students is required.
