Category Schools•Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract School district looking to hire six Special Education Teachers for current, full-time openings for the 2026-2027 school year. Opportunities are available at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. Responsibilities:
Provide specialized instruction and support to students with disabilities in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to promote student success. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized educational plans and classroom accommodations. Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings and other required school-based activities.

High School Learning Support Teachers Experience:
Previous special education or school-based experience is preferred, but qualified new graduates are encouraged to apply.
Education:
Active Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate required by the start date. The district's Human Resources department sponsors Emergency Permits for eligible candidates.
