You will be guiding a small classroom of eight students, providing personalized support and implementing effective strategies to encourage academic and social success.
Qualifications & Experience:
Current Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate with Special Education endorsement for middle school grades Direct experience working with students with autism spectrum disorders is highly preferred Ability to develop and adapt individualized education plans (IEPs) Strong interpersonal skills for positive communication with students, families, and colleagues Organized, reliable, and committed to creating a nurturing classroom environment
Your Responsibilities:
Deliver structured instruction and support to middle school students in an autistic support classroom Develop, implement, and assess IEPs to ensure student goals are achieved Collaborate with paraprofessionals, therapists, and fellow teachers to maximize learning outcomes Communicate regularly with parents/guardians on student progress Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom culture
Role Details:
Full-time contract: 35 hours per week (Monday-Friday)
Hours:
