Your Qualities and Experience:
Active Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate with Special Education endorsement for middle school students Genuine dedication to supporting middle schoolers with autism in an inclusive learning setting Collaborative, flexible, and ready to adapt to new classroom techniques and environments Previous experience in special education, preferred but not strictly required Excellent communication and documentation skills
Key Duties:
Provide individualized support to middle school students in an autistic support classroom Execute and adapt IEPs, monitor progress, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Foster a safe, nurturing classroom environment Engage with families and staff to promote student growth Commit to a full-time schedule: 7:15am - 2:45pm, Monday to Friday, through June 10, 2027
