e2112-17013 Job Description In this rewarding full-time role, youll provide dedicated, 1:1 instruction as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired for a pediatric student in a dynamic school environment. Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree (B.A.) required Current state certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired Experience providing individualized instruction in a school setting, particularly working 1:1 with pediatric students Strong communication and organizational skills, with a student-focused approach Flexibility to work as a travel educator
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver personalized, 1:1 instruction and support to a visually impaired student, helping to develop academic and functional skills tailored to individual needs Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to ensure the best outcomes for the student Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) according to regulatory and district standards Monitor and document progress, providing regular updates and recommendations for instructional strategies Adapt educational materials and environments for accessibility and student success Support the students social, emotional, and educational development within the school community
