Job Description

Special Education Teacher role for a 30-week contract in or near Chambersburg, PA. Provide individualized instruction and support for students with special needs, especially those with autism, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs, particularly autistic support students. Develop and execute tailored instructional strategies to foster student growth and engagement. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to monitor and evaluate student progress. Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state requirements. Foster an inclusive, caring classroom environment that promotes learning and social development.
Qualifications:
Current Pennsylvania State Certification in Special Education. Special Education Teaching Certification. Minimum 1 year experience working with autistic populations in a school setting. Excellent communication skills, patience, adaptability, and ability to work in a dynamic school environment.
