9674970-15108 Job Description Make a positive impact supporting students as a Special Education Teacher in a contract position just outside of Coraopolis, PA. This full-time opportunity addresses two openings working with students who have multiple disabilities, with a primary focus on autism. As a valued member of the schools special education team, youll develop meaningful relationships and help create a nurturing learning environment that supports student growth.

Key Qualifications:

Valid Special Education Teaching Certification for the state of Pennsylvania Experience working with students diagnosed with autism and other multiple disabilities Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet diverse needs Strong communication and teamwork skills with staff, students, and families Passion for fostering independence and progress in students

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver individualized and group instruction to students in a classroom setting of approximately 6 (autism focus) and 8 (other disabilities) Develop and implement differentiated lesson plans based on IEP goals and student abilities Employ evidence-based instructional strategies and positive behavioral interventions Collaborate with paraprofessionals, related service providers, and other educators Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and data tracking Foster an inclusive, encouraging, and safe classroom dynamic

Friday:
