This full-time, contract opportunity allows you to work closely with a small caseload of 2-5 students, providing individualized instruction and positive guidance throughout the school year. You'll serve K-12 students, collaborating with passionate professionals and families to foster academic and personal growth.
Key Qualifications:
Active Special Education Teacher certification Experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred Deep understanding of IEP development and implementation Ability to adapt teaching styles to meet diverse learning needs Strong communication and collaboration skills Dedication to creating an inclusive and encouraging classroom atmosphere
Primary Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and track individualized education plans (IEPs) for each student Design engaging, differentiated lesson plans tailored to student abilities Provide both small group and one-on-one instruction Monitor and evaluate student progress, adjusting strategies as needed Partner with general education teachers, therapists, and families to support each learner Maintain detailed documentation to track educational and behavioral goals Participate in team meetings, professional development, and parent conferences
