Job Description

We are seeking Special Education Teachers to support a summer Extended School Year (ESY) program across multiple sites in the Bucks County, PA area. This is a great opportunity to work with a collaborative team while making a meaningful impact with students who require continued support over the summer months.

Doylestown, Levittown, and Fallsington, PA Schedule:

26 hours per week

Program Dates:

June 23, 2026•July 30, 2026

Student Days:

Monday-Thursday Student Hours:

9:00 AM•2:30

PM Teacher Hours:

8:30 AM•3:00

PM Orientation/Setup:

June 23-25, 2026 Key Responsibilities Provide specialized instruction to students with diverse learning and behavioral needs in a structured ESY classroom Implement IEPs, collect data, and monitor student progress Collaborate with related service providers, paraprofessionals, and program staff to ensure consistent student support Student Population Moderate to severe disabilities, including behavioral needs Classroom assignments are determined based on experience, student needs, and program enrollment Requirements Active Pennsylvania Special Education certification required Candidates with an Emergency Permit must be actively enrolled in a certification program Must live within 35 minutes of assigned school site and have reliable transportation Ability to commit to the full ESY schedule (no planned absences) Comfortable working with students with moderate to severe needs and behaviors #p34
