DESCRIPTION
The successful candidate will have solid ability to prepare, direct and deliver instruction to students in special needs classes. Candidate will be able to demonstrate knowledge of content and pedagogy and knowledge of Pennsylvania's Academic Standards. Utilization of crisis prevention techniques/strategies (including possible restraint as a last resort) with students who require such in their IEP. Training will be provided via
CBSD. REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree and PA Special Education PK-8 certification (content area certificate required for issuance). Elementary certification preferred. Bachelor's Degree and PA Special Education PK-12 (certificate discontinued 8/31/2013/content area certificate required).
