A Special Education Teacher teaches students who have disabilities, and adapts teaching methods to meet the needs of students. Assesses students and helps to develop individualized education plans that specify the services and accommodations needed for each student. Works in a classroom that includes only students with IEPs, or works with students and teachers in regular classes. For students with severe disabilities, may focus on developing skills for independent living. Works as part of a team that includes therapists, school counselors or social workers.

Job Description

ProCare Therapy is seeking a state of Pennsylvania licensed COTA or OT to work in the school setting with an elementary caseload full time. This Easton, PA COTA or OT position needs the professional to work onsite following the school day hours, 8-3:30 and be comfortable working with students in elementary- middle grades with learning or multiple disabilities. Experience with pediatrics prior is preferred as the COTA and OT will support student growth using goals and the IEP process. This Easton, PA COTA or OT position pays weekly every Friday and offers medical, dental and vision coverage. Interviews will be scheduled immediately via Zoom.
