Job Description

High School Special Education Teacher Keystone Education Center Charter School in Greenville, Pennsylvania, is seeking a qualified and dedicated High School Special Education Teacher to join its educational team. Candidates must possess a valid Pennsylvania Teaching Certification in Special Education (7-12 or PK-12) and maintain current required clearances, including the Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance, Pennsylvania Criminal Record Check, and FBI Fingerprint Clearance (Acts 151, 34, and 114). The successful candidate will be responsible for fostering the social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development of students through the delivery of individualized, engaging, and standards-based instruction aligned with Pennsylvania academic standards and tailored to each student's unique learning needs. The teacher will develop and implement effective instructional strategies, promote student achievement, and create a supportive and inclusive learning environment. Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate educational records and documentation, including the development and management of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), progress monitoring reports, and other compliance-related requirements. The teacher will collaborate effectively with students, families, administrators, and colleagues to support student success and uphold positive, professional relationships within the school community.
