This is an excellent contract opportunity for experienced Special Education Teachers who are passionate about fostering growth and success for every learner. Positions are available for the current and following academic years, offering consistency and professional development in a collaborative environment. You'll be part of a supportive team with dedicated PCA assistance in all classrooms, allowing you to focus on individualized instruction and student progress. The structured hours of 7:45 AM - 3:15 PM provide a balanced work-life rhythm and consistency in your schedule.
What we seek:
Valid Pennsylvania teaching certification (Special Education) Experience working with students on the autism spectrum preferred Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Education or related field Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with PCAs and multidisciplinary teams Ability to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Patience, empathy, and adaptability to meet diverse student needs Role responsibilities include: Delivering tailored instruction to K-12 students in Autistic Support settings Collaborating with PCAs for classroom management and student support Writing and monitoring IEP goals and progress Maintaining thorough records of student work and data Effectively communicating with families and team members Educators will thrive in this role by making a lasting difference for students and being part of a well-established, resourceful team.
