Special Education Teacher- Elementary Autistic Support Devereux is seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to provide services within Neshaminy School District's Elementary Autistic Support Program .

$55,000- $65,000 per year , based on experience and qualifications Position open for 2026

Create a structured, engaging, and supportive learning environment for elementary-aged students with autism. Collaborate with related service providers, school staff, and families to support student growth and achievement. Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and district requirements. Implement evidence-based instructional and behavioral strategies to promote student success.About DESS:

Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in special education or related field required , Master's degree in special education preferred. PA Department of Education certification as teacher preferred . At least one year (1) of experience in an educational setting working with individuals with autism and/or other special education populations. Significant and frequent amounts of walking, standing and lifting of 10 lbs. or more is required. Must be able to present through verbal and written communication, as well as develop visual media Devereux has a zero-tolerance policy for abuse and maintains policies and procedures to systematically reduce the risk of abuse to occur in our organization.
