9649257-19063 Job Description Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students in special education classrooms. Two full-time positions are available, serving grades K-2 in a vibrant school environment. Youll work onsite, 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday between 8:30AM and 4:00PM. This role begins as soon as possible and extends through June 10, 2027, offering a chance to make a meaningful impact on young learners growth and development. Ideal candidates are passionate about special education and skilled in adapting lessons to diverse learning needs. A commitment to strong classroom and behavioral management is essential. Youll collaborate with school staff and families, creating engaging lesson plans aligned with state and district standards, and utilizing formative assessments and differentiation to support each students developmental journey.

Key Qualifications:

Active certification or licensure suited for special education caseloads Bachelors degree required for eligibility for emergency teaching permit Prior special education experience within a school setting is a must Mastery of subject matter and resource materials for K-2 special education Proven ability to provide classroom structure and manage student behavior effectively Comfort and confidence working in urban educational settings Possession of reliable transportation Ability to complete all required Pennsylvania clearances Strong professional communication and collaboration skills

Role Responsibilities:
