Job Description

A rewarding contract opportunity is available for experienced educators ready to make a positive impact in a dynamic high school environment. Two full-time positions are open for versatile, passionate teachers to deliver general education math instruction. These roles are based onsite and run through June 10, 2027, with a consistent 35-hour work week. Youll be responsible for creating and adapting lesson plans aligned with current state and district standards, teaching a diverse general education student populationoccasionally collaborating with special education staff to support SPED students as needed. The schedule is Monday through Friday, between 8:30 AM and 4:00 PM, with no alternate accommodations available.
Qualifications and Experience Sought:
Active certification or licensure appropriate for a high school math caseload Bachelors degree (or ability to obtain an emergency teaching permit) Demonstrated mastery of relevant math content and instructional strategies Experience in urban school settings and comfortable engaging with diverse communities Proven track record of strong classroom and behavioral management Prior experience in a school environment is required Reliable transportation to and from the worksite Ability to complete all required Pennsylvania clearances
