This role requires expertise in adapting teaching materials and strategies to meet the unique needs of students with visual impairments, ensuring accessibility and engagement in a virtual learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver specialized instruction to visually impaired students via telehealth platforms. Develop and modify lesson plans and educational materials tailored to the needs of students with visual impairments. Collaborate with other educators, therapists, and support staff to create comprehensive education plans. Monitor student progress and adjust instructional methods accordingly. Maintain detailed records of student performance and communicate effectively with parents and school administrators. Uphold privacy and confidentiality standards in compliance with educational regulations.

Desired Qualifications:

Certification or licensure as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired. Experience in delivering instruction through telehealth or remote learning platforms. Strong knowledge of assistive technologies used by visually impaired students. Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate and engage students remotely. Familiarity with Individualized Education Plan (IEP) processes. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote teaching setting.
