Qualifications & Experience:

Current and valid Pennsylvania Special Education Teacher license required Demonstrated experience supporting students with severe disabilities highly preferred Ability to collaborate effectively with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities Adaptable and patient, with a student-focused approach to instruction

Responsibilities:

Provide specialized instruction and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students within the K-12 spectrum Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages student growth and independence Utilize data-driven strategies to assess student progress and adapt instruction accordingly Partner with families and educational staff to ensure student needs are being met and goals are achieved Maintain accurate documentation, comply with state and federal educational requirements, and contribute to IEP meetings
