Qualifications/Desired Experience:

Valid teaching certification/licensure for the Visually Impaired Experience working with K-12 students in an itinerant capacity Knowledge of Braille, assistive technology, and adaptive instructional strategies Strong communication, collaboration, and case management skills Flexibility to travel within the assigned area

Responsibilities:

Provide direct and consultative instruction and support to visually impaired students across multiple school sites Adapt curriculum and materials to meet individual student needs Coordinate and collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Advocate for students and ensure compliance with special education regulations
