Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students as a contract Special Education Teacher for the upcoming school year! Two onsite educators are needed at a dynamic learning center in the New Oxford, PA area, supporting Autistic Support Rooms with potential for assignment changes based on program needs. The position runs Monday through Friday from 7:45 AM to 3:15 PM, beginning August 2026 and continuing through June 2027. Start as soon as all Pennsylvania state clearances are submitted and required pre-trainings are completed.

Key Qualifications:

Active Pennsylvania teaching certificate in Special Education (or eligibility to obtain) Previous experience supporting students with autism or related exceptionalities preferred Understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring Strong collaborative skills for working with educational professionals and families Excellent communication, adaptability, and organizational talents

You Will:

Deliver specialized instruction to students in Autistic Support Rooms, addressing diverse learning needs Collaborate with related service providers and teaching staff to support individualized education plans Track student progress toward IEP goals and adjust instruction as necessary Implement differentiated strategies to promote academic and social-emotional student growth Develop a supportive and positive classroom environment that encourages engagement and independence
