Monday- Friday 8-4 Salaried position Health, dental, vision benefits Opportunity for match Simple IRA Retirement Benefit Program Incredible Holiday and PTO Program BACB supervision embedded in experience Exciting and training opportunities available Location in the heart of Allegheny Center Public Service Loan Forgiveness Candidates applying for this position must be interested in serving as a special education teacher for a combined Pre-School/Kindergarten classroom serving 4-8 children with autism diagnoses. The program will focus heavily on the implementation of behavior analytic teaching procedures in natural play and daily routines. In this split role, the candidate would be working as a teacher half of the day 12:30-3:00 (3 days a week) and as an ABA instructor for the remaining weekly work hours. As an ABA Instructor, the candidate would be given a caseload of clients to support in a direct services role most similarly aligned with a Behavior Technician Role, but with unique training opportunities and supervisory supported experiences. The ABA Instructor would work to establish programs, train family members, teach children using naturalistic and contrived approaches, and learn both conceptual and procedural components to teaching complex multiply controlled verbal behavior. Opportunities for advancement are available with options to serve as case manager as soon as 6 months after the date of hire.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree required in related field with course work in the following subjects: Child development Early childhood methodology Language development Exceptional children Marriage and family Child psychology Nutrition/safety Teaching Certificates Preferred PA Special Education N-12 or PreK-8 or PA Private Special Education Certificate Serious inquiries only.
