Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or related field Valid teaching certification in Special Education (state credentials required) Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred Strong skills in individualized instruction, classroom management, and IEP implementation Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, support staff, and families Excellent communication and organizational skills Flexibility to support multiple classrooms or settings, including traveling between buildings (for Learning Support role)

Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver tailored instructional plans to meet the unique needs of students in Life Skills, Autistic Support, or Learning Support classrooms Assess student progress and adjust strategies to promote optimal learning outcomes Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom environment where every student can succeed Maintain accurate records, document student growth, and participate in IEP meetings Collaborate with general education staff, related service providers, and families to maximize student potential Adapt to changing needs across two locations, ensuring continuity of support for Learning Support students
