This postion may require occasional remote travel within the State of Alaska.

What You Will Be Doing:
As a Community Care Licensing Specialist 1 (CCLS 1), your role will be to oversee a workload of child care facilities across the State of Alaska. Your duties will include conducting on-site inspections and investigations, applying your knowledge of licensing requirements, and maintaining effective communication with child care providers, partner agency members, and the general public. Additionally, you will be responsible for generating and issuing various reports and ensuring that facilities are fully compliant before granting a Child Care License.This postion may require occasional remote travel within the State of Alaska.

The Community Care Licensing Specialist I position will be located in the Anchorage Child Care Program Office at the Frontier Building.The Address is: 3601 C Street, Anchorage, Alaska 99503. This position includes office and field work, including travel within the state.
