Job Description

Braintree Academy Full-Time Braintree Teaching Position Location:
Dependent on
BES Need Note:
This position includes both in-person and virtual responsibilities.
Working Hours:
The expected workload will be approximately 40 hours a week/10 months
Virtual Teaching :
Monday to Thursday, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM Mountain Time (MT).
In-Person State Testing :
As scheduled, varying throughout the school year.
Administrative Duties :
Flexible schedule, approximately 1/3 of overall working hours. This could include Faculty meetings.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Full-Time Teacher to work closely with students and engage in a variety of instructional and administrative tasks. This position requires a passion for education, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage both virtual and in-person classroom environments. Braintree Teacher Primary Responsibilities:
Student-Centered Duties (Approx. 2/3 Time)-Some combination of the following:
Homeroom Management :
Serve as the homeroom teacher for a designated group of students. Caseload is dependent on other duties needed by Braintree. All duties required of a
Homeroom Teacher Virtual Instruction :
Conduct virtual classes for students Monday through Thursday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM (MT). Utilize online learning platforms and tools to deliver engaging and effective lessons. Assess and evaluate student performance through virtual assessments, discussions, and projects. All duties required of a
Virtual Teachers In-Person State Testing :
Support the state Test team as needed with proctoring state-mandated standardized testing for students as required. Ensure that testing protocols are strictly followed and that students are supported throughout the testing process. Coordinate with administration for testing schedules, materials, and results reporting. In State Travel is be required. Administrative and Other Duties (Approx. 1/3 Time):
Administrative Tasks :
Assist with school administration tasks such as record-keeping, reporting, and student evaluations. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities. Collaborate with other teachers and staff to improve educational strategies and practices.
Qualifications:
Education :
Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Certification :
Valid teaching certification for the State needed, relevant grade level(s) and subjects.
Experience :
Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in both virtual and in-person settings.
Skills :
Strong knowledge of digital learning platforms and instructional technologies. Excellent classroom management skills in both virtual and physical settings. Ability to collaborate effectively with other educators and staff members. Strong organizational skills for managing multiple responsibilities and administrative tasks.
